Our Community

He traveled to Guatemala to learn Spanish and what was intended as a three-month adventure, turned into a 3-year life-changing experience.  Living in rural coffee-growing communities changed his perspective on consumption and the connection between food and where it’s produced.  Although we met in the US, I'm from Guatemala and have always had an appreciation for the rich coffee-growing culture of my country.  Together, we believe that it's important to know where the products we consume originate, and are proud that our community in Guatemala serves as the foundation for sourcing the coffee we sell.

As a family, we made the trek from Guatemala back to Portland, and quickly felt right at home in this coffee-lovers' paradise. We are proud to call this unique corner of the world home, and love, among so many other things, Portlanders' passion for coffee and commitment to responsible consumption.

Two Dads Coffee Co. was created with the belief that relationships are the most important element in any venture. We’ve had the privilege of forming strong and long-lasting relationships in Guatemala and Portland, and are proud to be able to connect our two communities not only as a family but also by sharing our coffee with you.
